Saw a handful of dogs having a good time. Part of Mt Monroe Loop could be tough for some dogs because of the gaps between rocks. |

Hiked up Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail to Lakes of the Clouds, Over Mt Monroe Loop to Crawford Path. Took the Crawford Path to Mt Franklin then over to Mt Eisenhower. Returned via Edmands Path and walking along Mt Clinton Rd and Base Rd back to our car. Trails were dry on this perfect summer Saturday. Crowded on Ammonoosuc in spots on the way up, but it seemed most people were heading to the hut or to Washington. Great day on the ridge! |
