A climb up Pierce to meet a friend who hiked over from Washington, and also a test hike to work through a knee issue. CP is mainly dry with a few minor areas of mud and running water. Forgot how rocky this trail is outside of winter. WCT is dry. I started up at the crack of 1pm, so I got a lot of looks from those descending. :) I hung out on the ledges for a while, friend arrived, and we were back down at 5:30. Lots of folks out today. I normally avoid the crowds, but this was a special case. :) |
