Parking/Access Road Notes: Got there at 6:30am and was mostly empty. By 2:30 it was packed!

Water Crossing Notes: Very small creek or two; no issues for anyone.

Bugs: Very minor at low elevation.

Comments
Comments: Tough out and back hike with lots of elevation gain and loss with this route; the guidebook is correct in saying this is a strenuous route. Morning winds above treeline near Glen Boulder were fierce (estimate 50+mph). By afternoon all had calmed down.
