Great day on the trails! Lots of water this year. Raymond Path water crossings were higher than last year, but still passable. Tuckerman Ravine trail in the headwall was wet, but not slippery or dangerous. Mountain Avens, Alpine Bluets and Labrador tea were in bloom around Tuckerman's and in the Alpine Garden. The pathway up to Washington ... well, it's still the rock pile and aptly named. Lion Head was easy going on the way down. Heard a lot of bugs buzzing around in the sub-alpine zone, but none were biting. |
