Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There were either 4 or 5 water crossings that needed some thinking but it was manageable. If you have poles they will help immensely. I just brought flip flops and a towel, changed into them when needed then a towel to dry my feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: several trees down, large portion of the bondcliff trail is flooded. deep mud in some area, other areas just very wet rocks.

Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: blackflies were awful, as expected in the wet areas. but it was very windy towards the summit so they let up.

Comments
Comments: I got to the trailhead at 5:15. I was at West Bond around 11, and back at my car by 4. 22.6 miles, roughly 10 hours. Despite the mud and wet rocks the trail is still in good enough condition to make for a great hike. Those who haven't done this trail the first 5-6 miles are almost entirely flat, then it starts to go up a little towards bondcliff, down and up again over to Bond, and going over to west bond is a breeze. Happy Hiking!
