| Comments: |
Zealand Trail had a dusting of snow with icy water crossings. Light traction needed to get up or down steeps to hut. Lend A Hand Trail was rough due to shoulder season conditions - pooled/running water in trail with a flimsy coat of ice on top, with a half inch of snow on top of that. Microspikes were adequate to get up the icy sections. |
