These two trails make a fine loop about 1.9 miles in length up and over Lockes Hill. Charlie and I went up Lake View first making a counter clockwise loop. Great views from Lake View Trail over the big lake and its islands to the Ossipees and the Sandwich Range Mountains. There are binoculars/viewers we found two on Lake View and one near the summit that looks over to the Gunstock and Belknap. We checked out the cut area on Quarry and had an open view towards Peaked and Cardigan. Super nice trail, we met maybe six people out hiking. We enjoyed apres hike at Funspot. |
