Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water level of the brook was fairly high, almost completely covering the tallest rocks. The rocks were quite slick overall.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of trees and branches blown down across the trail. Markings up Sabbaday Brook Trail were not very visible, if even existent?
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Some areas had lots of bugs and flies, they swarmed us when we took breaks. They clear up a little as you climb higher but the summits were again filled with flies because they're not bare peaks.

Comments
Comments: We lost the Sabbaday Trail about a mile in due to lots of blow-over, not many trail markings, and just an overall not clean trail yet. We ended up doing a lot of bushwhacking and river hugging to eventually find the trail again. But once back on, it was cleaner and flat. The last ~mile before hitting the junction that begins the Tripyramid loop was pretty steep and involves either bushwhacking or near rock climbing due to large boulders. We got eaten pretty good by bugs and flies even with multiple applications of bug spray. The views on a clear day make all the troubles well worth it though.
