Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: plenty of parking at 9:45am. Just love the Millennial Masshole aggressively tailgating and passing on a dirt road!

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: mostly bridged or easily rock hopped 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: nearly no trail blazes on the Zealand tr with numerous beaten paths leading off which could confuse others. Twinway was mud, plain and simple. the dual log "bridges" sank into the water. numerous areas of lengthy mud with no rocks to step on nor logs. TLC needed.

Dog-Related Notes: saw a couple seeming to have a good time.

Bugs: not so much until I hit the cliff, then constant companions!

Comments: As mentioned above, the trail from start to finish was mud, running and standing water.
on the plus side...tons and tons of Lady Slippers in bloom, both pink and white varieties.
