water flowing in the brooks but crossings were fine..a couple of icy rocks |

trail in great shape..one large blowdown at around 3500 feet has been trimmed up. USFS folks had cleared a large one down below and were working on ski trail when I went by |

| Comments: |
Expected wind up high and narrow time window found me at Hale today. Gale River, North Twin, and Zealand Roads all open..snow line around 3000 feet. There was ice starting above the second crossing and it was pretty solid for the last 1/4 mile..micros or some light traction highly advised..Very little wind here today and nice views through the trees to the south. |
