Well there was a lot of mileage in this route before camp but we made it at 6:40. We had some good weather and took an hour at eliza brook shelter. The shelter is in great shape. The terrian was great too. Seemed to have a lot of water to filter for a 11.5 trek on day 1. When we made it to the shelter, it is 10 bucks but we were shocked that it was so packed i had my tent on a platform with 2 others and the guy with me got the "overflow" hammock spot that they have never cleared out. the bog bridges and stairs to the bathroom are in desprite need of replacement. We had no beer issues and the shelter was a double level and looked in great condition too. good day |
