Comments
Comments: Hiked in the evening, set up camp not too far in, then woke up at 2:30am to hike by headlamp/moonlight to the summit for sunrise! Conditions were great on the way up - wonderful cool night air. Left a little too late, so the sky was already lightening before I got up to the ridge, but I had beautiful glimpses through the trees the whole way up. Got to the ridge for sunrise and there was still a pretty morning sky by the time I got to the fire tower.
