Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are a couple blowdowns 1/2 way up Diceys that have been chainsaws about halfway, but they still remain...there is another blowdown on east side of the Walden summit loop. Walking around is best.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw lots, easy trail for them.
Bugs
Bugs: Flies, gnats, mosquitos are all out now. They were buzzing all day but weren't really biting. Just keep moving. A nice breeze would have helped.

Comments
Comments: The spur trail from the summit is worth the .6 round trip. If you are looping the summit I would go up the east side first, and descend down Diceys. Overall, beautiful weather was the winner of the day, and some bumblebees for HoneyBee to pet was fun too :)
