Comments
Comments: Out and back hike to climb the upper mile of the Dry River Trail while nabbing Eisenhower Cutoff (for Redlining). Lots of mud and water on the Dry River Trail. Eisenhower Cut-off is a real gem. Easy to follow with a mellow gradient up to Crawford Path. The top mile of the Dry River trail is awash in snowmelt and still has snow. I hiked down to 4300 ft, the point where I had to abort a hike because of deep snow in May 2015. Then hiked back up and out the way I'd come, spending the night at the designated site near the Isolation Trail junction.
