Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I recommend cutting out the first two river crossings by using the herd path that follows the left of the river. A fit, young guy was walking back informing me he could not make the third crossing. I decided to just put my feet in the water and cross...water level was just below my knee. Met people on the way down who told they rock hopped it but they were much younger than me!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Tree with many branches needs to be cut soon after the third crossing. Between 3,600 and 3,800 there are a few duck unders that are quite large but can be cut with a bow saw. Noticed that the water bars are full of debris and need cleaning.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Did not see any dogs...maybe because of the water crossing.
Bugs
Bugs: None! Must be the cooler temps.

Comments
Comments: The trail is very wet and muddy in sections...especially between North Twin and South Twin. This has always been one of my favorites!
