By taking the Engine Hill bushwhack, the first two Isolation Trail crossings were avoided. Took the herd path to avoid 3+4. Crossing 5 was a little bit tricky, but doable with dry boots. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Removed some blowdowns on Isolation Trail. Still some blowdowns remaining on Rocky Branch and Isolation Trails. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Hunters using the forest road at the opposite side of the parking lot - may want to keep the dogs close until a ways away. |

| Comments: |
Dusting of snow starts around 2,700' or so - no more than 1/2 inch. Rocky Branch Trail had some mud and running water sections. Isolation Trail had some pooled/running water under not-so-solid ice. Light traction might be needed to ascend the Isolation summit spur. |
