| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the first one in the lot at 7:30AM. When I was back around 10:30, there were only 3 other cars. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The water crossing right at the start appeared challenging, but just plan your steps first. If you have waterproof boots or gaiters on you might be able to just walk through. They would certainly be easier without the recent rain. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two blowdowns...if I remember correctly, the big one was somewhere between 2.3-2.5 miles in. It was fine to get through, but if you have a massive pack it might be difficult. |

| Comments: |
A little misty/rainy, but this was a great rust buster hike. I took my time due to the wet rocks and roots, and still made good progress. |
