Parking/Access Road Notes: Need to access via gale River Trail end as bridges out..plenty of parking at trailhead

Water Crossing Notes: all water crossings were easily rock hoppable

Trail Maintenance Notes: one large blowdown of consequence at around 4000 feet..most branched lopped off..large saw need to get rid of this one

Comments: Trail in fine shape and turned out to be a much better day than forcast..with cloud line at around 5000 feet views were good and we had glimpses of sun..some mud down below..deep leaves as well in a couple of places..started to see some ice around 3700 feet of little consequence..once on the garfield Ridge Trail there was more ice and while we were able to pick our way around it another cold night might change that..be carefull
