Comments
Comments: All trails quite wet and muddy in many spots, especially Kinsman Ridge Trail (AT) south of South Kinsman, which is rough, steep, slippery, and difficult in both directions. The road walk between the two trailheads to close the loop is about 3.5 miles, but I was lucky to catch a ride with a good samaritan. There are several places on the Reel Brook Trail where it is easy to miss a turn, so it is necessary to pay attention to where traffic has been before (there are no blazes or debris blocking the unused way at the points in question).
