We did the hike with only one water crossing. There were exposed rocks to use and some with a small amount of water going over them |

Baxter had lots of fun, plenty of water all day. |

Black flies came out at the end of the day ( after 6 pm) |

Of course the trail was very wet, to be expected. Once we crossed the river we encountered small sections of rotting snow. Traction would not have been useful. Tried to stay in the center of the monorail but you never knew when it was going to collapse on you. There were a lot of people on the summit that day. |
