ongoing trail maintenance,trail has been recently cleaned and clear of blow downs. |

three or four dogs well behaved and not leashed. |

black flies below 2500'.very noticeable in mid day sun, tolerable with head net. |

running water on trail, heavy mud and wet leaves in many spots.brook crossings are all manageable.wet rocks on Kinsman ridge. |
