Comments
Comments: It was a magnificent day on the Summit of Mt. Lafayette. I met Dave on the trail with his Scarpa Boots on from Boston. The views of Mt. Washington and other peaks were breathtaking for sure. You could see Mt. Mansfield and Camel's Hump in Vermont. It was quite treacherous on that last part to Mt. Lafayette when you make the turn. It was ice under snow and it was difficult coming down there but with crampons not a problem. Dave decided to do the loop and I did not see him so hopefully he will e-mail me and let me know he made it down ok. We need snow and need it bad and in big, huge, momentous amounts up there.
