Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on Gale River Tr. were easily done on slightly submerged rocks. All talked to who had taken North Twin Tr. up said they had about knee deep water to deal with.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One blowdown on Twinway about 1/2 way up to South Twin has a herd path going around it. Recall 2 others; one on Gale River and one on Garfield Ridge that were easily stepped over or ducked under. As previously mentioned one of the planks on relocation section of Gale River Tr. is broken so care necessary when crossing.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several out enjoying the day. Plentiful water currently.
Bugs
Bugs: I used Bens; no issues.

Comments
Comments: Trails were 60% dry with rest being quite wet and muddy. I appreciated having my boots today. Short section of monorail on Twinway and a 15 minute stretch of it on the North Twin Spur. Traction not necessary and not enough depth for posthole problems. Hikers coming from Guyot reporting knee to waist deep postholing last couple days. Turned out being a great day and nice running into several friends as well.
