Comments
Comments: Dicey's Mill, Tom Wiggins, and Blueberry Ledge to Mt Whiteface. Tom Wiggins is really not that loose or steep. Great trail and fast way up Whiteface. Then Rollins and Kate Sleeper to Downes Brook junction. Some stable monorail between 3700 and 3500. Water on trail and I steeped in someone else's postholes. Trail runners were fine. Back the same way to Whiteface. Then down McCrillis Trail which is a great way to descend Whiteface. Gets a bit difficult to follow in the last mile or so, but it is blazed yellow. The stream crossing across the Whiteface River wasn't bad. Then easy hike back to Ferncroft over McCrillis Path. Great loop hike.
