Comments
Comments: Mt Tripyramid Trail has a patchy monorail after the junction with Scaur Ridge Trail, we managed to wait on traction until half a mile before the summit of North where we spiked up from there. On the ridge the monorail was roughly a 8-12 inches and stable or non-existent.

Most of the snow was on the KST and it was a similar theme. Areas with 8-24 inches and then completely dry trail. We bare booted the KST with ease by stepping into the postholes, and I was happy how stable and firm it was, not sinking at all :)

Surprised at how dry most of the trails were today. The temperature was perfection and the sun wasn't too warm, no wind. Once off KST smooth sailing the rest of the way.

I enjoy this traverse and appreciate how these trails are some of the cleanest! Saw 15 others and it was great to see Tara, Gypsyhiker and Kim. Good day out with Al
