The trail is melting out nicely. Significant (but not continuous) monorails from 3200'-3700'. Almost no snow on the ridge. Large/deep patch of hard snow/monorail just before reaching the summit via clockwise approach. Light traction handy for dealing with the monorails. At the cost of an extra 15-30 minutes and modest disrespect for the trail edges, bare booting is feasible. |
