Comments
Comments: Awesome day to be out!!! Heavy early am winds going up the caps on Caps Ridge Trail; had to crouch at times. Bluebird skies! Significant solid snowfields on Crawford Path - I would NOT want to cross them without traction. Microspikes worked great today - lots of ice everywhere but not thick enough for full crampons. Snow areas were solid tho occasionally there were VERY deep frozen postholes. Near LOC hut, and down to Ike, it was t-shirt weather!!! Great to run into Eric R!!!! This was a bike spot; I rode back up hill to Caps Ridge TH - very tedious.
