dont recommend this trail unless you are very experienced in winter hiking or with a group. i went with a group from the 4000 footer club. below 3000 feet lot of postholing. still abundance of snow. needed snowshoes 3000+. temperature dropped from 50 to 20 once we summitted Washington. despite the conditions the wind was minimal and very sunny on the summit. |
