Comments
Comments: Just waterproof boots and gaiters for the day. Didn't use traction as I felt the microspikes would have been overkill, but YakTrax would have been useful.

Trail began getting increasingly wet/muddy around Mt. Surprise (a little less than halfway to summit). Rock slabs/ledges were mostly wet (rarely icy), but were still extremely slick; ascent wasn't too bad, but descent required careful steps to prevent slipping.

Occasional views today, but mostly in the clouds.
