 | Comments: |
A 10.5 mile loop over 7 of the Belknaps, starting and finishing at the Mt Major parking lot. There were a few stretches of soft snow ( complete with postholes) and a lot of running water on the Brook trail. Otherwise, this was a great hike on a lovely Spring day. The toughest stretch was coming off N Straightback as it's steep, rocky and slippery. This part added a considerable amount of time to the day. Highly recommend this route. An excellent day out. |
