Comments
Comments: Nice day to be out on Sunday, if only for an hour or so on the Sugarloaves.

Spring snow conditions everywhere -- a foot of rotten snow in shaded areas, slushy monorail, and plenty of open, dry trail and ledges. The snow is melting pretty quickly.

We wore light traction to start, but to be honest, as the temperatures warmed it was much easier bare-booting and just being careful here and there. The piles of dry leaves were more of an issue than any ice.

Warm temperatures forecast for this week should improve conditions.
