Comments
Comments: when we started the hike it was 4* outside, so we opted not to start in snowshoes. didn't put them on until the mizpah cutoff, and honestly probably could have still got away with not wearing them but we saw so many postholes we said why not. After this week I'm sure will be a diff story. we wore them up pierce and then over to the Eisenhower loop and ditched them there for the steep terrain. Today was amazing and clear in the am. on our way out the temps warmed up quite a bit and started to sink in a little, so if you plan on going anytime soon, than snowshoes i would say would be a must.
