Comments
Comments: Started at 6am, with microspikes. We were sorry we didn't take snowshoes, but it was still possible without. Only small areas of unpacked snow. Crampons were not needed. Got to Eisenhower by sunset and decided to omit the summit by continuing on Crawford trail. Don't do it. Trail is all covered in deep snow and trees, trail finding is impossible. Actually dangerous because snow is waist deep. Crawford trail from Pierce was perfect equally packed snow, we ran it downhill to the parking.
