Comments
Comments: This was a long unbroken trail before we showed up. Following the trail was tough being a first timer and not seeing a lot of blazes, but following the river helped through the notch and mostly was the trail. The snow changed while we were going from powder to sticky wet (always caught on my poles and snowshoes), to frozen by the time we bailed.

We made it to the sign for Mt. Cabot 1.8 miles, and just had enough. Not enough daylight based on how far we made it and it only gets steeper after that point. We started at 11, and turned around by 4-430.
