Comments
Comments: Cold day especially on the summit where temps were at least 10 below and wind strong enough to blow you off the top rocks. We did a tag and go. Once back in trees conditions were fine though the steeps down to Garfield Trail were very icy. Hillshounds were ok but it was slick. The remainder of the trail was rock solid and smooth w/o many postholes. First time all year snowshoes could stay in the car. Very limited views though we were not sticking around to see them. Hopefully good day tomorrow for KLM to finish her SSW48.
