| Water Crossing Notes: |
The first water crossing had an iffy snow bridge on it - we crossed successfully. The second water crossing was open unfortunately. With the melt and the rain storm last night, the brook was high. The best spot we could find was about 6-8 inches of running water. It would take me (a big guy) about 3 good steps in the brook to get across if the ice shelves held on both sides. We decided not to cross :( |

| Comments: |
Well, we knew the stream crossings might be iffy given the recent weather. And, they were and stopped our hike kind of quickly. Trail to the second brook crossing was fine for microspikes or snowshoes. The wet snow and any standing water had frozen overnight. Disappointing, but we'll return at some point |
