Comments
Comments: Wore microspikes to Gem pool but we were having the unexpected postholes which were not fun. Switched to snowshoes after crossing pool and they worked great for the rest of the day. There were a couple of bare spots just before the summit but not significant. The trail is a postholed mess. Caution is needed on the way down to avoid all the holes.
