Comments
Comments: Got a late start on the day and hit the trail at about 2PM. Only three other cars were in the lot. I ran into a few folks snowshowing up to Greeley Pond but only one other hiker up on Osceola this afternoon.
The trail was well packed and made for some great butt sliding on the way down! The last time I hiked East Osceola, about this same time of year last year, I had to turn back because the ice on the upper trail was too thick for just my microspikes. But today was smooth sailing! On the steeper sections, there are some kicked-in steps on the side of the trail which makes the descent a lot easier.
