Oddly warm at start, snow a bit sticky, though trail pretty well packed by snowshoes. Snow largely blown or melted off trees. Temps comfortable even above tree line. Big issue was wind! So much wind. I persisted up to Abigail, not far below ridge. I was barely able to keep walking there, and I was solo so Abby was today's summit. |
