Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day - very windy, but warm. Met some very nice people and adorable dogs, enjoyed some great views.

Wore snowshoes from the trailhead to trailhead. The start of the trail could be bare-booted, but I didn't want to carry the shoes on my pack and don't care for the feeling of moon walking my way up a trail. Some post holes were seen early on and became a bit more frequent as I approached the south peak cutoff.

The trail between the main and south peaks is littered with postholes - a lot of the damage seemed like it was from the previous day. While the trail appeared packed down, the warm weather made it unstable for anyone not distributing weight. Skiers and snowshoers were fine. Tonight's cold snap will solidify the chasms.
