| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at the Basin. It is plowed but the snow has blown around. Parked in the upper lot. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Some of the brook crossings were a little sketchy. there are no ice bridges and you can't really tell if the snow has anything underneath. We carefully made it across using poles to find solid ground/rock underneath the snow. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Baxter had his turns breaking trail. It was difficult for him to turn around as the snow was over his head in places and the trail was very narrow. He had fun. |

| Comments: |
Broke trail from the start of the bushwhack about 2.5 miles. We had a turn around time so didn't make it to the campsite. The snow gets deeper as you go up and the trail is only wide enough for 2 snowshoes. Sorry we didn't get further. |
