| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Many snow-covered branches and tree limbs, increasing in frequency the higher we went on the Bondcliff Trail, that were conveniently between eye and chest level due to significant snowpack on the trail. Even though the vast majority of the trail was unbroken, the trail corridor was relatively easy to follow. |

Strenuous but rewarding day... the two of us broke trail all the way from Lincoln Woods to the summit of Bondcliff, and returned by the same route. Nice packed-powder snowshoe trench at this point- at least until the next major snowstorm arrives Sunday. Bondcliff Trail was narrow in sections, with many branches- normally well overhead- to duck under or walk straight into. Couple of interesting sidehill sections as well, especially before they were broken out. Didn't see anyone else until running into a few XC skiers near the Osseo Trail junction. |
