Comments
Comments: Stairs covered with snow (less than an inch), Wind started picking up on trail after the stairs and it got cold. Met another hiker and we pushed to the Summit of Mt. Flume. Winds were about 50-60 mph with gusts over 75 mph. Had to stop and kneed down on some of the gusts before I could continue. Beautiful day and clear except for Mt. Washington. The temp was in the lower 20's up top with wind chills below zero. We had everything on. Met two girls who came up the Flume who did it without traction. They said the river crossing was tough and two of them fell in. Had an excellent time.
