Comments
Comments: Chilly and breezy day in and out of the clouds, got only minimal views at the summit. Saw three hikers all day. We snowshoed from Camp Dodge all the way back to the car. The trail is packed down and in good shape. Snowshoes worked great, but one could certainly get away with light traction at this point, should they need to, but make sure you stay on the footbed. The snowpack is high on Carter Moriah and North Carter trails, so watch out for branches to the face and eyes. The trail sign at the junction of those two trails is nearly buried now. The trail to the North branch of Imp trail looks like it's had only one hiker recently, as it is not well broken.
