Parking lot at Layfayette Campground was no problem when I arrived at 8 AM. When I left at 2 PM the lot was packed. People parked on both sides of the road making getting out a bit dicey. |

Trail is very well packed down all the way up to North Kinsman. Microspikes worked great. A bit more snow between North and South Kinsman - snowshoes would work well but microspikes were fine too. Beautiful day up there and saw lots of people coming and going. |
