 | Comments: |
The trails were well packed and no signs of any bare booting (amazing huh?). The whack was all what Vose Spur used to be billed up to. Nasty trees and fir bands with the complications of 2.5'-3' of snow. Able to ride on top of a consolidated crust down low but after the talus slope the snow was completely unconsolidated and gave way. Thanks Tim for doing most of the work. Took a ridge up and headed into the drainage area as fast as we could and followed that back to the CNT. One of most difficult whacks of recent memory. |
