Started at 0947 after long drive from S. NH and breakfast. Steady limb the entire way. Thankfully the only other person we saw the entire day was a frequent hiker of this trail and had left before us so we just followed his tracks. Not too cold or windy. Snowshoes needed the entire 9 miles. Some spots were a bit tricky going up due to thinner snow over ice. Several unintentional and intentional butt slides on the way down. Finished at 1720 for trip time of 7.5 hours. |
