I noticed a sign in what I though was the normal winter lot stating that this lot was for snowmobilers only and that hikers had to park about 0.4 mile down route 2 in a different lot. This must be something new this year as I always parked there in previous winters. |

Plenty of blowdowns from recent ice storm. We cleared most of them to the best of our ability with a small trail saw. |

5 of us broke out the trail. Wore snowshoes almost from the start. Not much new snow down low but more snow and drifts up high. Cleared some fairly large blowdowns. |
