Comments
Comments: Donna n I had tried for this peak two other times n made it today :) Trail was broken out for about the 1st mile, then broke trail to the summit w/the help of another hiker that joined us at the beginning of the Engine Hill Bushwhack. Be aware that we didn't do a very good job with the route! Hooked up with Rocky Branch Trail waaay early, which added about an extra 1/4 mile or so. Other than that was able to stay on trail. Please use snowshoes as the trail is quite soft, thank you! The best part of our day was on the summit with total cloud cover which slowly dropped exposing all the peaks w/blue skies, never seen it as good EVER!!!
