| Comments: |
3 to 4" new snow increasing a little at the steeps getting up and out of the gully, naturally. Some backsliding. I saw no one all day but some hardy soul had come up the South Peak then over to the North and back so the track across the ridge is a little better packed down. I'm not going to apologize for butt sliding down the steeps thereby sweeping away some of the new snow cover. You will know who to curse, however. The snow was getting sticky mid-afternoon when I got back to the car. Until the track gets better packed and freezes snowshoes are strongly advised. |
